Course content
Lectures: 1. Strategy, basis and strategic decisions, strategic levels. 2. Strategic management in various condition-small, middle and large companies, multinationals. 3. Strategic management - strategic development models, 4. Sequence of strategic development processes, 5. Analysis of inside and outside environment. 6. Identification of competitive position of organization 7. Sources of competition, sources audit. 8. SWOT analysis, critical factors of success. 9. Strategic possibilities evaluation, their suitability, acceptability and putting into practice. 10. Strategy implementation. 11. Project management in organization structure. 12. Project teams and communication. 13. Project targets, responsibility, costs and risk when preparing the project. Seminars: 1.-13. students work

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
  • Semestral paper - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 52 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 70 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The subject of study deals with the theory and practice of strategic management and planning, accesses and the methods of effective utilization of firm sources are included for the achievement of future appointed objects.
Students understand the basic principles of strategic management, they are able to use various methods of strategic management.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites for the course are commonly required skills and knowledge at this level of education, the course is not conditioned by the completion of another course.
