1. Introduction: Types and uses of transformations. 2.-4. Basic mathematical apparatus for transformations. 5.-6. Identity transformations 7.-8. Similarity transformation 9. Affine transformation 10.-11. Helmert transform 12.- 13. Other types of transformations 14. Jung's transformation

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to deepen the students' knowledge about working with raster and vector files of digital maps.
The student will learn to use different types of transformations. The transformation can be effectively applied to activities that require a coordinate transformation.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledges of works with PC.

Assessment methods and criteria
Test, Seminar work

Credit requirements: Attendance at seminars, submission of assignments, credit test. Test requirement: Written exam, oral part of the exam.
