Course content
Lectures and exercises 1.-2. Business idea and invention 3.-4. Legal forms of business and business registration 5.-6. Syllabus, content and approaches to the elaboration of a business plan (= PZ) 7.-8. Financing PZ 9.-10. Marketing and human resources 11.-12. Presentation of PZ students 13. During the study, students will be given materials (brochures, leaflets, documentation, etc.) according to current calls, support, innovations, etc. in cooperation with the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce, South Bohemian Science and Technology Park, a.s. and other cooperating institutions.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Demonstration
  • Semestral paper - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 40 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 56 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students will get acquainted with the design and structure of the business plan (= PZ), while they will reflect the latest approaches to its processing. Students will be acquainted with the legal business environment, curriculum and requirements of PZ and methods of its financing. Emphasis will also be placed on non-traditional forms of financing (in addition to loans, preferential financing and subsidies or contributions, competitions for start-up entrepreneurs, crowdfunding and business angels will be mentioned). Students will be provided with advice not only from the teacher, but also from external experts from practice and other institutions. The scope of the business plan will be in the intentions of SMEs (= small and medium-sized enterprises).
The student is able to compile a business plan and masters basic business terminology.
Prerequisites
Basic high school economic literacy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Credit requirements: active participation in seminars (max. 2 absences), presentation and submission of a developed business plan Exam requirements: written test (10 multiple-choice questions; min. Success rate = 60%)
