1. History, Present and Future of Settlement of Rural Space 2. Legislation and general principles of designing agricultural buildings 3. Basic principles of design; Participants in the construction process 4. Basic overview of building materials 5. Basic overview of building structures and typical structures of agricultural buildings 6. Stables and equipment for livestock 7. Storage of feed and litter, preparation and drying rooms 8. Storage and processing of fertilizers, storage of manure and slurry, reservoirs and tanks 9. Buildings for post-harvest treatment and storage of food crops 10. Glass-greenhouses and foils-greenhouses, technical equipment of buildings 11. Specifics and designing of field roads 12. Faults and reconstruction and rebuilding of agricultural buildings 13. Reading drawings, types of project documentation, working with documentation

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the teaching subject is to acquire the basic understanding of the history of country settlements Furthermore about the legislative rules, standards and technical conditions significant for the execution of the agricultural capital construction as well as about the possibilities of reconstructions. Familiarization with the routine of building activities takes place first - from the building materials and constructions to the examples of agricultural objects of a livestock and plant production and other kinds of agriculture buildings.
Students obtain basic overview of building materials, structures, technical and technological devices used in construction, especially in agricultural buildings. Student acquires complex knowledge in the construction process and is able to read in the project documentation.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of building materials and structures, knowledge of the basic terms used in the design of buildings and their realization, ability to work independently.
