Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to meet students with the historical aspects of microbiology, with particular groups of microorganisms, their morphology and physiology, and with environmental factors that influence the growth and multiplication of microorganisms, and last but not least with the importance and use of microorganisms.
Students will acquire general knowledge of microbiology - historicals aspects, overview of microorganisms, structure and physiology of bacteria, relationships between microorganisms, pathogenesis, treatment of infections etc.
