Course content
Main topics (course outline) by individual teaching blocks: 1-2. Relations on a set; equivalence and ordering 3-4. Operations on sets; basic algebraic structures 5-6. Systems of linear equations in school mathematics 7-8. Vector space; linear combinations 9-10. Linear dependence and independence of vectors; generating sets of a vector space 11-12. Basis of a vector space 13-14. Coordinates of vectors with respect to a basis

Learning outcomes
The student acquires a fundamental understanding of linear algebra.
The student will be able to solve basic problems in number theory and apply the acquired knowledge in practical real-life situations.
