Course content
- Overview of teaching methods (frontal teaching, work with text, activating methods, complex methods, ...) - practical examples of lessons - interdisciplinary concept of teaching FG - forms of organizing teaching in relation to FG - textbooks focused on FG - didactic games - Financial freedom - banking sector initiative - Alphabet of Česká spořitelna, interactive game Budget it!

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint participants with methods suitable for cultivating financial literacy of high school students, as well as with the form of teaching and organization of teaching in relation to cultivating financial literacy of high school students. In addition to traditional teaching methods such as frontal teaching, working with text, participants will be introduced to activating methods (project teaching, didactic games, problem solving method, situational method,). The methods will be discussed not only at the theoretical level, but also at the practical level (examples of lessons related to the topics of FG implemented in the FEP for secondary schools). Part of this course is also acquaintance with available teaching material, not only with textbooks, but also with various games (eg Financial Freedom), and activities offered by institutions operating on the financial market in the Czech Republic (eg Alphabet of Česká spořitelna, interactive game Budget it !,)
The participant will gain a basic overview of teaching methods suitable for building financial literacy of students, as well as an overview of activities developed in this area by the banking and non-banking sector.

Student performance assessment, Didactic test

Successful completion of the didactic test. Design of 2 lessons aimed at increasing the level of FG of secondary school pupils.
