Course content
Content of practices: Basic biochemical characteristics. Basic haematological characteristics. Basic microbiology technics. RIA for determination of drugs, hormones and vitamins. Breathing test.

Learning outcomes
Practical performance of basic methods in routine operation of medical laboratory
Work in clinical or diagnostic laboratory.

Absolved Biomedical laboratory practice (KME745)

Assessment methods and criteria
Systematic student observation

Students absolve practice in clinically oriented laboratory. It is possible to visit the same institution as in the course Practice in the clinical laboratory I. (KME738), but the focus of each workplace must differ. It is possible to visit an institution in another EU country. Student must arrange proper insurance at the faculty (Mrs. Hana Kabelová). Students arranges his/her practice by himself/herself.
