Course content
Students will experience a two-weeks training in the laboratory of clinical biochemistry or histology or microbiology, possibly immunology, cytogenetics etc.

Learning outcomes
Students will acquaint themself with operational regime of medical facilities.
The knowledge of the routine of clinical or diagnostic laboratory.

No specific requirements are necessary.

Assessment methods and criteria
Systematic student observation

Students absolve practice in clinically oriented laboratory. It is possible to visit the same institution as in the course Practice in the clinical laboratory I. (KME738), but the focus of each workplace must differ. It is possible to visit an institution in another EU country. No later than a month before the start of the internship, it is necessary to sign a contract for internship + insurance. The contract will be issued by the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Science (Francová Miroslava - mfrancova00@prf.jcu.cz, 387776209), insurance (Kabelová Hana - hkabelova@prf.jcu.cz, 387776203). After signing the contract, the STAG will generate bank details for the payment covering internship insurance. After paying the fee, the student will be automatically insured. Students arranges his/her practice by himself/herself.
