Course content
1. Main principles of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), focusing on selected ERP system such as MS Axapta 2. Description of the functionality of the ERP financial module 3. Connection of ERP with other business applications 4. Current situation and trends in the ERP market 5. Other elements of corporate IS - BI, CRM and other applications and their functionality 6. The principles of project implementation of ERP system 7. IS management, organizational and legal aspects of the implementation of the ERP system 8. Trends in corporate IS 9. Attributes of various IS solutions for different segments - small, medium and large businesses, industry solutions 10. Functional, data and process trends of corporate IS 11. Approaches to the evaluation of IS effects 12. Approaches to innovation of IS

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), E-learning

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the principles and methods used in enterprise information systems. The learning is focused on software such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), BI (Business Intelligence) and other software used by businesses. Students will also be familiar with the procedure of implementation ERP system on the example of selected software (eg ERP Axapta).
Students will understand the possibilities and limits of the various enterprise software. They will know conections of ERP application with other business applications, principles of the various stages of the selection and implementation of ERP systems including their specific features, trends and innovations.

Knowledge in the scope of Business Information Systems I.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Submitting of several assignments focused on the issues being discussed, project. Exam: Written test and discussion on final project.
