  • Semestral paper - 36 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with basic concepts and technologies of computer communications and computer networks.
Students should be able to design a simple local area networks, to have notions about network management and connecting of local area networks (including connections to the Internet) and about the issues of security of computer networks.
Prerequisites
unspecified

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam, Seminar work

Active participation in seminars, working out a seminar work - practical application in network domain (small network creating, connecting to Internet).
