Lectures: 1 - introduction to the course, basic terminology 2 - insurance and financial mathematics 3+4 - mortality tables 5+6 - life insurance 7 - life annuity 8 - principles of the life annuity computation 9 - proprietary insurance 10 - airport and airmeeting insurance 11 - travel insurance 12 - causalty insurance 13 - models and calculation of insurance 14 - funding insurance Seminars: 1 - simple and compound interest 2 - general types of insurance 3+4 - construction of mortality tables 5+6 - computation of life insurance 7+8 - computation of life annuity 9 - proprietary insurance 10 - airport and airmeeting insurance 11 - travel insurance 12 - causalty insurance 13 - mathematical models of insurance 14 - funding insurance

Learning outcomes
The course of Actuarial Mathematics introduces students to the terminology, models and mathematical calculations of actuarial mathematics and their applications in concrete problems. The basic principles of the life insurance, life annuity and proprietary insurance are mentioned.
The knowledge of students contains the construction of mortality tables, the computation of various types of insurance, and the introduction into theory of life and proprietary insurance.

The course has no prerequisities.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Credit Requirements: Attendance in lab Examination Requirements: To pass written part of exam you have to solve absolute majority of problems. The writing part is followed by an oral part of the exam.
