Learning activities and teaching methods |
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming) |
Learning outcomes |
It is the second part of the course of Engineering Mathematics. It is targeted at the fundamenals of the differential and integral calculus of one real variable and the differential calculus of multi-variate functions. Applications in economics are emphasised.
The student will understand the basic concepts of differential and integral calculus. He/she will perform the basic techniques of differentiation and integration and their applications. He/she will solve optimisation problems and master the mathematical software MAPLE V. |
