Learning outcomes
The students will occupy with the current political, social and economic developments in the German speaking countries. For this purpose they will follow recommended printed and electronic periodicals and publications, in order to be able to search for relevant and reliable sources and to present various topics (politics, economy, culture, social system etc.). The students will broaden their factual horizons and will improve their language skills - terminology (and vocabulary generally), text analysis, communication. The students will learn, how to present special topics and how to discuss them using their widener knowledge from another subjects (e.g. history of German speaking countries).
Students will take an overview of literature and internet sources, they will learn to search and analyse them. During the study of primary and secondary literature they will extend their terminology and they will be able to respond in a situation, which demands these knowledges (e.g. conversation, discussion).

Student performance assessment

All examinations and consultations are held in German. oral presentation (written form is to handover)
