Learning outcomes
The course will provide an overview lectures in the form of a basic orientation in the guidelines on the history of German literature from the beginning of the 19th century to the present. In the seminars, students will read interpretate and get known selected canonical works and contemporary works of German literature from naturalism to postmodernism and the contemporary media era.

Knowledge of the European and German history, ability to analyze a literary text and work with literature.
