Learning outcomes
Introduction to the basic political and cultural history of the German speaking countries and to the most relevant historic technical terms in German.
The students get a basic introduction to political and cultural history of the German speaking countries, particularly of Germany and Austria. Not innumerable facts and details, but general understanding of history, causes and consequences of historical processes and the most basic technical terms in German language will be the main focus of the lecture.
