Course content
1.-4. week: Gender Identity and Gender Roles. Reflecting Gender Bias I (Family, Society, School, Media, Advertising). Reflecting Gender Bias II (Labour Market) 5.-12. week: Gender-sensitive education: School as Gendered Space. Reflecting Teaching Approaches and Methods from the Gender Point of View. Recasting of Syllabi and Re-writing of Textbooks. Girls- and boysdays. Goog Practise guide.

Learning outcomes
Girls' and boys' gender identities are influenced by ways of teaching and learning. The course considers these aspects of education - citing examples of successful initiatives to make gender equity a central part of teaching and learning - and recommending changes needed to ensure that education provision will promote gender equality.
Teacher should be able to develop and to implement policies for gender equitable approaches to teaching and learning for quality and equality in education.
