The objective of the course is to provide deep insight into test materials at the level B1of CEFR for languages. The aim of the course is to develop skills necessary for dealing with typical exercises of the exam in Listening, Reading, Writing and Use of English. Students revise knowledge of grammar and vocabulary necessary for successful completion of the exam within suitable topics.
Student is provided information about the requirements for each level of CEFR and mainly about the B1 exam. Student is able to take the international exam B1 level at any institution authorized to provide this type of exam. |

The langauge competence atthe language level A2/B1. Th course AJ2 is a follow-up course of the course AJ1.

| Assessment methods and criteria |

Test
Credit Requirements: - 100% attendance (absence must appropriatelly excused); - enrollment in the system Moodle in the course English Language 2 (AJ2/CAJ2) - completion of the tasks in Moodle up to the end of week 12 in the winter and summer semester with the average score at least 85%. Students may do the tasks repeteadly; - to complete successfully the course, it is necessary to score at least 70% in the final credit test (Placement Test), the test consists of 50 questions and it tests the use of English, listening and reading comprehension; time allocation is 70 minutes; every student has two attempts to succeed in the test; - regular preparation for lessons; - self-study; - completion of other tasks assigned by the teacher. |
