Full-time study: Seminars: 1. Theory of co-operation and position of franchising among co-operation groupings. 2. Origin of franchising. Evolution of the notion franchising. Definition and characters of franchising. 3. Forms of franchising. 4. Building Francoise chain - entrepreneurial conception. 5. Building Francoise chain - selection of franchisees. 6. Banks and franchising. 7. Chosen legal aspects of franchising. 8. Franchising and competition - group exception. 9. Contract as a main tool of building relations in the chain. 10. Acquiring information, counseling, Franchise federations and associations. 11. View of franchising in the Czech Republic, Europe and all over the world. 12. Case studies. Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to make students acquainted with principles fundamental of franchising enterprise and concrete experience, particularly in the Czech market.
Students understand principles of franchising and its advantages and disadvantages. They have knowledge of concrete examples of applied franchising in various fields of enterprise.
