Full-time study: Lectures: 1. Guide character in tourism. Guiding in tourism, classification. Tour guiding in EU countries and its modification. Profile of a tour guide. Tour guide as an animator? 2. Psychological aspects of being a tour guide - work style, formal and informal groups, typology of participants. 3. Excursion guidance. Guiding in the context of travel and tourism development. Tour guidance development in the Czech Republic. 4. Guide performance in tourism in the Czech Republic. Legislative modifications of tour guide possibilities. Demands on applicants for tour guiding. 5. Cooperation of tour guides and travel agencies. Legal modifications of the relationship between the guide and the travel agency. Remuneration of guides. Travel costs of guides in the Czech Republic and abroad. 6. Guide's preparation on excursions/stays. Allocation of excursions by travel agencies. Information and comparative minimums and their processing. 7. Topological preparation. Psychological preparation. Chronological preparation. World presentation of guides - form, content, rhetoric. Work with microphone. Nonverbal communication - body language. Personal equipment of guides. 8. Work agenda of tour guides during excursions/stays. Travel agency's adoption of excursions. Manipulation with written documentation, money and aids. 9. Duties during cognitive excursions. Duties of guides during stays. 10. Duties according to transport. Social protocols of guides - general norms and rules of guide behaviour. 14. Qualifying preparation of applicants for guiding. Tour Guiding as a profession. Seminars: 1. Learning outcomes
The assumption of a guide´s character, his/her rights and duties, their work agenda before, during and after excursions/stays here or abroad in cooperation with travel agencies.
Practical discipline oriented to tour guiding methodology. The assumption of issues of psychology, sociology and rhetoric.

Full-time study: Credit Requirements: Active and creative work within seminars, written work - itinerary of chosen excursion. Part-time study: Credit Requirements: Written work - itinerary of chosen excursion.
