Course content
Lectures: 1. Information services. Importance of providing information services in tourism. Tourist information centres . Infromation and reservation systems. The Internet. 2. Sports and recreation services in tourism. Characteristic and importance of providing of sports and recreation services. Conduction of theirs providing. 3. Culture and entertainment services. Characteristic and importance of providing culture and entertainment services. Conduction of theirs providing. 4. Services of tour operators and travel agencies. Importance, functions and classification of tour operators and travel agencies. Travel agencies in Czech Republic and their cooperation. Choosen conducts of providing of services of tour operators and travel agencies. Product of tour operators and travel agencies mediation, organization and providing. Distribution of product of tour operators and travel agencies. 5. Services of tour guides. Tour guide services as a part of assistence in tourism. Importance and classification of tour guide services. 6. Animation services. Animation services as a parto of assistence in tourism. Animation activities in tourism, their structure and character. Providing of animation services. 7. Services of insurence in tourism. Importance of insurence in tourism. Insurence contract in tourism. Types of insurence in tourism and their character. Non-commerce health insurence of visitors in tourim. 8. Spa services. Indication of nature healing spa. Infrastructure of providing of spa services. Importance, character and classification of spa services. Services of medical tourism. 9. Services of MICE tourism. Character and classification of congress events. Importance and conduction and classification congress services. Organization of congress events. Services of incentive tourism and their importance. 10. Services of rural tourism. Character and importance of services of rural tourism. Standardization of facilities providing services of rural tourism. Accommodation, catering adn other services in rural tourism. 11. Services of specific market segments in tourism. Sevices of tourism for children and young, for young family with children, for seniors, for those interested in adventure tourism, for those interested in experience tourism. 12. Other services in tourism. Exchange services in tourism. Passport and duty services in tourism. Visa agenda in outgoing tourism. Healt services in outgoing tourism. Czech COnvention Bureau and services of MICE (categorization of congres places) 12. Types of insurence in tourism examples of insurence company and offered products. 13. Services of incentive toruism (including case study) 14. Association of rural tourism in Czech Republic. 15. Importance of cooperation of providers of tourism services in destinations.

Learning outcomes
Goal of this subject is explain the complexity of tourism services in process of meeting of customers´ needs in tourism. Students could know the technology of services which can be used in practice.
Students understand to complex conception of tourism services and they are able to describe and discuss their specifics. Students are theoretical prepared for providing of all tourism services as a complex supply of tourism.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam, Seminar work

Credits Requirements: B) satisfactory assessment of individual seminar thesis written and verbal (presentation of thesis in field of tourism services) or participation on study tour. Exam Requirements Satisfactory assessment from verbal part of exam in form of questions on the topic Tourism services.
