The course introduces students with basic attainments from quality The basic item: Quality. Historical aspects of quality. The importance of quality in the marketplace. National policy of quality support. Quality legislation. Technical standardisation. Conformity assessment and certification. Accreditation, authorization and notification. Safety of production. Introduction to quality management. Environmental aspects of quality. Social aspects of quality. CSR.
Students understand the basic principles of quality, they are able to perceive national policy of quality, technical standardisation, conformity assessment and quality management systems.
