Course content
|
Full-time study: Lectures: 1. Introduction to Quality Management 2. Quality legislation and technical standardisation 3. Conformity assessment, certification, accreditation 4. Quality Management Systems, approaches, policies 5. ISO 9000-9004. TQM 6. Resort standards. Food standards (GMP/GHP,HACCP,ISO 22000, BRC, IFS). AGRO: GlobalGAP, PPH (SMR) a DZES (GAEC) 7. Specific standards (EMS, HSMS, ISMS, FSMS). Integrated management systems 8. CSR (Corporate social responsibility) 9. Economic aspects of quality 10. - 13. Lectures by experts from practice 14. Credit Seminars: Depression of problems from lectures. Presentation of an individual seminary labour. Excursion to productive company and test institution.

Learning outcomes
|
The course introduces students with basic attainments from Quality Management. The basic item: Importance of quality in current business. Quality legislation. Technical standardisation and certification. Assurance of quality: ISO 9000, TQM (Total Quality Management), resort standards (HACCP, GMP). Specific standards (EMS, HSMS, ISMS, FSMS). Integrated management systems. Quality Management in commercial business and tourism/in agriculture and food production. Corporate Social Responsibility. Economic aspects of quality.
Students understand the basic principles of quality and quality Management, they are able to perceive the quality as a strong competitive advantage.

Credit Requirements: Pesentation of an individual seminary labour, excursion and lecture attendance. Examination Requirements: Written test (60% of the success).
