Course content
Schedule of seminars: - Managerial simulations and their use (1st sem.) - Recapitulation of fundamental knowledge needed for practical simulation in UNISIM environment, Creation of teams (2nd sem.) - Simulation A (3rd - 5th sem.) - Simulation B (6th-8th sem.) - Final presentations (9th - 10th sem.) The plan is created with respect to students who study their last term before graduation.

Learning outcomes
In this course, students divided into teams solve problems related to situational analysis, planning and decision making in business management. The UNISIM Managerial Computer Simulator as a modern tool for education of students enables to simulate impacts of their various decisions taking into account sufficiently realistic conditions.
Students will be able to combine their knowledge about business management (accounting, finance, management, marketing) and use it practically. Students will improve their skills in the areas of teamwork, situation analysis, goal setting, planning, time management, economic calculations, decision-making in complex settings, evaluation and self-evaluation of their own performance.
Prerequisites
Prerequisities include basic knowledge from business economy, accounting, management and marketing.

Student performance assessment, Analysis of student's work activities (technical works), Self-reflection

Credit requirements: Attendance at seminars is obligatory. Home preparation according to the teacher's instructions is required (especially careful studying simulation game rules). Students must obtain at least 50 points (max. points = 100 points). Points are awarded in the following structure: 1. team work - final sales after completion of simulation A (max. 20 points), final value of EVA indicator after completion of simulation B (max. 20 points), summary final report and its presentation (max. 40 points) 2. individual work - self-reflection, min. range of 1 800 characters (max. 20 points) Required structure of the final report (also presentation): 1. Team introduction and role definition 2. Simulation A - decisions (target segments, created products, pricing, chosen communication, sales channels, work with human resources), achieved results and their evaluation 3. Simulation B - decisions (target segments, created products, pricing, chosen communication, sales channels, work with human resources), achieved results and their evaluation 4. Evaluation of work of individual team members (strengths vs. weaknesses) Prescribed structure of self-reflection: 1. Introduction - initial expectations of the subject 2. Evaluation of personal experience gained during simulations 3. Evaluation of own strengths and weaknesses 4. Conclusion - lessons for the future, usability in practice Final report evaluation criteria: 1. Compliance with the prescribed structure 2. Material depth of processing (detail) 3. Formal processing 4. Presentation Self-reflection evaluation criteria: 1. Fulfillment of prescribed structure, formal processing 2. Depth of self-reflection and lessons Any questions or problems should be consulted as soon as possible with the teacher, who may clarify or supplement the above rules (there must be serious reasons).
