Course content
A 4-day intensive course, 35 hours of teaching in total, consisting of: - theoretical sessions (approx. 1/4), - skill-development sessions (approx. 1/2), - reflection sesstions: connecting theory with practice (approx. 1/4).

Learning outcomes
The course aims at introducing the curriculum and methodology of Philosophy for Children (P4C) to students who attempt to work with children /young people in their future career. Both theoretical background and principles as well as practical aspects of the project are introduced. Students will be presented with demonstrations of P4C novels and mauals; also, they will take part in dialogues based upon Lipman´s novels in order to see and fully understand how P4C theory is put into practice.
Students will acquire: 1) philosophical (critical, creative, caring) thinking skills, 2) fundamentals of facilitation skills necessary for facilitating a philosophical dialogue.
