Course content
- Models of organization of religious education and teaching of the subject of religion with consideration of ethics education in secondary schools in selected countries. - Models of organization of religious education and teaching of religion with consideration of ethical education in the Czech Republic. - Creation of an educational programme in the practice of a specific school (analysis of the situation, concretization of educational objectives, cooperation with the RVP SŠ and appropriate tools)

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on gaining an overview of didactics of religious education and ethics education in various European countries and in the Czech Republic on specific models of didactic work in relation to their application in practice.
Students dispose of insights into possibilities of working with the young aged 15 years and above in a school subject religion and ethics. They understand structure principles in curriculums of these subjects in some European countries and they apply them during projecting specific teaching units.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student portfolio analysis

Active participation in seminars (20% absenteeism allowed), written preparation of a seminar paper and its defence in a colloquium
