Course content
|
The course will be divided into four thematic blocks: 1, Theoretical foundations of open youth work: the concept of youth in terms of psychology and sociology, an overview of the history, theories and methods of open youth work. 2, Planning open youth activities: identifying the needs and interests of young people, planning activities to meet these needs and interests, and effective implementation of activities. 3, Evaluation of open youth activities: assessing the effectiveness of open activities; improving activities based on this evaluation. 4, Developing competences for working with young people: communication, social and organisational skills needed for working with young people.

Learning outcomes
|
To introduce students to the principles and methods of open youth work. To develop students' ability to plan, implement and evaluate open youth activities. To deepen students' understanding of the needs and interests of young people.
Knowledge of pedagogic principles an open (low-threshold) youth work.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Colloquium, Test
Seminar attendance, 75%. Preparation and presentation of the paper. Orientation in basic topics (examination in the colloquium). Content of knowledge: principles of open work, animation approach and principle of participation.
