Course content
|
The study content includes the following areas of the state final examination - School and Scholarship, Paidagogos and Pedagogy, Teaching and Education and Chronos, Kairos, and Aion. Literature is based on one's choice and the supervisor's recommendations, seminars, consultations, and debates over texts.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide students with insight into the way of thinking about school, pedagogy, and leisure from the perspective of humanistic philosophy, pedagogy, and psychology, on the one hand, as well as from the perspective of social science disciplines. By reflecting on their own pedagogical and life experience, studying literature, and discussion attending meetings, the student attempts to formulate their own position on the understanding of pedagogy, leisure, and the path to self-reflection.
The student should be able to formulate their position on the pedagogical significance of leisure, orientation in the pedagogical field on a scale from humanistic to socially determining concepts, and the idea or awareness of their continuous self-reflection.

Prerequisites
|
A prerequisite is the ability to link reflections on the study of pedagogy and educational research methodology with a genuine interest in the pedagogical accompaniment and ethics of the helping profession. An essential prerequisite is the ability to listen, to engage in dialogue, to find relevant resources and to bring them into the discussion.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Essay, Colloquium, Seminar work, Self-reflection
During the two-semester course, the student will demonstrate the ability to search for scholarly sources, prepare them at the required level, and be able to evaluate them critically. On this basis, the student will produce a seminar paper to defend in preparation for the state final examination.
