Course content
The students master the basic topics on the basis of reflecting the experiential gestalts, the so-called mentalization (Fauconnier, Turner, 2002). From the point of view of upbringing and education, mentalization is the condition of the development at all the three basic levels of the cultural field: socialization, enculturation and personalization (Slavík, Chrz, Štech, 2013). During mentalization, the student masters, verifies, re-forms, and therefore there is conceptualization of the mental space informing about the world and himself. Based on the well-thought educational use of this personal experience and its evaluation via the theory, the student is capable of using these findings in the educational practice. Basic themes: Perception basic theoretical concepts, development of perception, social perception Imagination working with images in relation with learning and memory Memory stages of memory and possibilities to improve them, memory of myself and of others Learning selected theories of learning, learning styles Thinking problem solving, group thinking Creativity psychological aspects of the pupils' creativity and its support Attention working with the pupils' attention and concentration Intelligence, abilities and emotions in learning

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on deepening and integration of the findings from the basic psychology courses (namely the general psychology, personal psychology and social psychology). The aim of the course is to acquire the ability to understand the theory with the support of a systematized experience with mental phenomena and to apply the experientially acquired findings in the educational practice.
