Course content
Early educaters. Hebrew and education. Education in the Old Testament. Talmud. Educaters in antique period - paidagogos, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, rhetoric schools. Education in the New Testament. Church Fathers and pedagogy. Christian education in the epoch of St. Augustine.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Demonstration, Projection
Learning outcomes
Study of ancient pedagogical systems. Philosophy of education in the antique period. History of pedagogy and education (up to the epoch of St. Augustine). History of theology (up to the epoch of St. Augustine).
Understand the origins of: " religious education " history of pedagogy " philosophy of education " theology of Early Church To interpret the origins Christians education. To discuss the problems of Christian education with regard to recent spiritual needs.
