Course content
Together with the supervision of field practice focused on students' self-reflection in the process of becoming an educator, the "Fundamentals of Leisure Education" seminars provide students with stimuli to reflect on pedagogical practice in the disciplinary context of leisure education. Topics that the students themselves identify as pedagogically important in practice are discussed.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
The course is a follow-up to a general introduction to educational sciences and pedagogy, focusing on understanding the specifics of leisure education. The starting point is the students' own practice in the field of leisure education. The aim is to create a space for learning about the theory of pedagogy in the sense of gaining insight into one's own pedagogical actions. The emphasis is placed on increasing students' sensitivity to relational pedagogical phenomena, on a qualitative understanding of leisure and free time, and their relevance to the concept of education.
Students develop their sensitivity to the phenomena of pedagogical practice based on their experience gained in field practice. They learn to thematize, discuss and contextualize their perspective of the phenomena as well as formulate it in writing.
Prerequisites
The course builds on the knowledge acquired in the course of Introduction to Educational Sciences.
