Course content
Analysis of situations in the school education

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to equip participants with skills and abilities to work comprehensively with different pedagogical situations from a position of teacher. The seminar will focus on the practical situations from the school educational environment in which participants will practice a psychological analysis of the situation. The emphasis is put on identifying and expanding their own perspectives on the situations, on reflecting on their internal processes, attitudes, expectations, traits, feelings, as well as on expanding opportunities to respond and on promoting constructive processes in the position of teacher. The benefit of such work is often greater sense of security and confidence in the work of teachers in the complex and unstable social situations at school. The seminar also serves as preparation for writing the final study work (analysis of the educational situation for Final examination).
The ability to identify and expand one´s own views on developments in teaching situations, promotion of self-reflection, expanding opportunities to respond and support constructive processes in the position of teacher. Increased sense of security and confidence in the work of teachers in the complex and unstable social situations at school.
Prerequisites
credit of teaching practice C capacity of the seminar is aimed only for students of the 4th year of Bachelor fields of study focused on education (leading to Učitelství pro 2. stupeň ZŠ)

Essay, Self-reflection

Active participation (presentation) and presence in the course, final written self-reflection.
