Course content
Introduction to Pedagogy course is based on basic principles of humanistic pedagogy. Basic categories, which are necessary for understanding purposeful education, will be briefly mentioned within historical and philosophical context. The main emphasis will be laid on the explanation of complex education tendencies of 21st century with a view to both: education in institutions and social groups of post productive age.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce humanistic pedagogy to students and to offer them basic theory for competences connected with their future profession.
The student gets competences in understanding the contents of fundamental pedagogical terms. It is especially the term "upbringing". The education can be seen in historical and social connections. He /she is trained in application of pedagogical knowledge for his/her own practice.
