Course content

Learning outcomes
The course will familiarize the students with the basic concepts of addiction behaviour and, most of all, with its possible prevention in elementary schools. It will touch on factors that influence addictions (family, peers, media influence). Part of the seminar will be a proposal of various possible procedures for handling meetings with an aggressive parent (e.g., with an alcoholic).
Students will learn to seek out options in the prevention of addiction behaviour. The aim is to familiarize students with basic aspects of addiction behaviour, to describe its individual expressions and together look for the possibilities and limitations of teachers' interventions.
