Course content
Content of lectures and seminars: - Contracts- purchase contract, lease contract, loan contract- bonds of those contracts to the civil and commercial law. - Copyright and publishing. - Marriage- marital contract, marriage, marital agreement on property - Marriage- divorce, property settlement, agreement of property settlement, children; alimony, tax and financial consequences of parenthood - Inheritance- disinheritance, inheritance in context to the Commercial Code, the acceptance and rejection of the inheritance, inherited debt and liability - Consumer protection- warranty, product defects, complaint procedures - Selected cases of liability for a damage- taken responsibility for things, responsibility for the damage of brought and left stuff, reliability for occupational diseases, statute of limitations - Free Access to information law and Protection of classified information law from the point of view of a citizen - Management contract and other labour relations. - Protection of name and honour of a citizen, compensation of non-pecuniary damages in the sphere of a citizen. - Civil action (example), the proposed decision. - Legal issues in the field of housing.

Learning outcomes
The subject defines some selected legal regulations, which adjust legal relations in society. The course is designed to explain selected chapters of the labour law, commercial law, criminal law and other regulations. This knowledge will help the students to expertly think and by addition of theoretical apparatus to deduce right conclusions in the decision-making process.
Students have acquired knowledge of basic legal regulations, namely codes of business, labour and criminal codes. They are capable of using such knowledge as appropriate for their professions.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Student will prove the knowledge of discussed topics by passing written exam with the result better than 60% maximum. In case of lower result an oral exam will be possible.
