Course content
1. Normality and pathology. 2. Bio-psycho-social conditionality of personality. Inetraction of heredity and environment. 3. Stressful situations, frustration, conflict, stress, deprivation. 4. Illness as a psychological problem. 5. Dementia- mental retardation. 6. Psychotic disorders, schizophrenia. 7. Mood disorders, affective disorders. 8. Neurotic disorders. 9. Personality disorders. 10. Aggressive behaviour. 11. Addiction, addictive and impulsive disorders. 12. Social pathology and family, CAN syndrome. 13. Social pathology and society, socio-cultural handicap. 14. Psychotherapy and its possibilities.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to define normalities of a personality, understanding the aspects which form it in context of developmental aspects. Also to get to know the hereditary and congenital influences and the impact of external environment and the family. Gaining knowledge about different pathological manifestations of personality influencing behaviour, experiencing, cognitive and will processes, during biodromal personality development. Understanding the possibilities of psychotherapy. Based on the knowledge adequate evaluating of clients manifestations, preventing problems while dealing with them, increasing own safety. Preventing own demanding life situations, stress.
Orientation in the problematics of psychopathology, internalizing basic knowledge of causes and manifestations of various disorders, and classification of said disorders. Improves the sensitivity to the needs of handicapped persons, and the knowledge of prevention or therapy options.
