Learning outcomes
The seminar is designed for all students without any specifications (blocks of compulsory optional subjects) and it leads students to reflect personal competences which social pedagogue needs to successfully manage tasks within specific professions. Seminar provides participants with gentle, friendly form of "feedback" view of their way of solving various problems, their evaluation of other perspectives and their practical impact. Even an experienced professional who is working with people has to solve some problems (educational and relational: interpersonal) in which it is difficult- if not impossible- to be objective. Ability to reflect own emotions and former personal experiences, even under the level of consciousness, influences the way of solving current problems as an important component of so called "emotional intelligence". Aware work with own emotions and often unaware prejudices is a very useful skill. For all who work with other people, this seminar is an opportunity to safe confrontation of own working strategies used when solving problems at work: and also an opportunity to actively work on themselves as an instrument of their own self development.
View on practical impact of own manners in handling different situations - and its appraisal from various points of view. Ability to reflect own emotions, as well as own former personal experience, which affect actual behaviour.
