Course content
Norms (the concept of norms, socio-cultural concept, tolerance for norms violations) Behavioural disorders (ethopaedia, characteristic features of behavioural disorders, aetiology of behavioural disorders) Classification of behavioural disorders (antisocial behaviour, asocial and dissocial behaviour) High-risk families (basic function of family, functional and dysfunctional family) Children in extremely difficult situations (CAN - forms of abuse, characteristic manifestations of CAN, CAN consequences) Foster care Children's aggression and hatred (bullying, types of bullying) Socio-pathological phenomena of adolescents (alcoholism, drugs, gambling) Basic factors of SPJ Crime and juvenile delinquency Particular social work with high-risk youth (approaches, solutions, institutional care) Prevention of social-pathological phenomena (the role of family, school, creating preventive programs)

Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to acquaint students with the high-risk groups with an emphasis on children and youth and specific social pedagogical work with them. Students will apply their knowledge while solving model situations, analyzing of case reports from the view of helping professional in the field of exercise of social-legal children and youth protection.
Student is familiar with the issue of risky behaviour, knows basic characteristics of risk groups with an emphasis on children and youth. Student knows the basic forms of social work with them and can choose and plan appropriate preventive measures.
