Course content
Basic knowledge and qualification for written work, basic ethical norms of processing of a bachelor thesis. Formal requirements of a bachelor thesis. Using literary sources in relation to bachelor thesis, reading and writing of a scientific text. Proceedings of creating both theoretical and practical parts of bachelor thesis. Quotations, notes, bibliography. Establishing the outcome of a work and its potential for further research or a grant. Supplying pictures, tables and graphs, and marking thereof.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to equip students with a set of theoretical knowledge in the field of social communication and also to develop basic practical skills.
Students acquaint themselves with basic formal and ethical requirements for written work. They will examine the use of literary sources in relation to the topic of their theses, the rules of reading and writing of a scientific text. In the end they are familiar with appropriate processes of writing a thesis, its varied parts, and summing up the conclusion.

The requirement for gaining credit is to hand in a concept of theoretical part of bachelor thesis in time, to study of basic literature on a given topic, creating elaborate outline of research within the thesis and to absolve compulsory consultations organized for all students who had signed for the seminář for bachelor thesis in a given semester.
