Course content
- Pedagogical diagnostics. Areas of pedagogical diagnostics. - Approaches to diagnostic work. Diagnostic procedures and strategies. - Diagnosing personality of a child, an adult. - Cognitive area of personality and its diagnostics. - Motivational area of personality in terms of its diagnostics. - Temperament and its diagnostics. - Some expression manifestations of a child and an adult. - Observation as a diagnostic method. - Projective methods useful for social pedagogue.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to acquaint students with the basic approaches, procedures and strategies of pedagogical diagnostics. In addition students will learn the methods and techniques of pedagogical diagnostics.
- be informed about basic problems of pedagogical and psychological diagnostics - familiarization with problems of social perception - respects differences between children's diagnostics and adult diagnostics

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay, Interview

Active participation in seminars. Construction of own diagnostic method, practical use of the method in practice, hand in the diagnostic method and notes about experience with the use of this method. Test of knowledge of basic knowledge of pedagogice diagnostics.
