Course content
1. Introduction to the subject, organisation and requirements on student. Basic terms of management. 2. Developmental trends in management. 3. Market environment. Analysis of the business environment. Management and organisation. 4. Planning. Organization. 5. Decision-making. Checking. 6. Leadership and the personality of a manager. 7. Human resources in the organization. 8. Communication, motivation.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to provide students with the basic theoretical knowledge of management and enable them to acquire basic management skills necessary for their practice as managers. Student will gain crucial awareness of society functioning in market economy.
The student will acquire new pieces of knowledge in the sphere of problems connected with the public sector and its management and he/she will be well versed in this area. He/she will be able to assess various approaches concerning the solution to real problems, he/she may come across in our everyday life.
