Course content
1. The relations of general didactics and subject-specific didactics 2. Subject didactics and secondary education system 3. Historical aspects in subjekt didactics 4. Objectives of education and their specification at the schools of a different type and stage 5. Object-matter and its content analysis 6. Fundamental school documents, technical equipment and study texts 7. Activating methods in teaching 8. Forms of classes and teaching technology 9. Control and evaluation of the process and the results of teaching 10. Teacher and his authority 11. Classroom climate and social relationships in school 12. The problems of specialized education

Learning outcomes
The aim of the lectures is to provide a theoretical basis for developing a teacher's skills in the following areas: understanding of the basic terms of general didactics; didactic principles and their application in the system of professional education; the system, conditions and types of instruction (teaching) in relation to professional education; organization of the instruction (teaching) process in the environment of vocational high schools; the methods, forms and means of instruction (teaching); individualization and differentiation; the teacher - student relationship; pedagogical communication.
