Course content
Origin and development of mental deviations, prevention, remedy Selected mental and behavioral disorders Social pathology, theory of social deviations Different lifestyle problematics Negtaive influence of the community - influence of media, problematics of minors, function literacy Family pathology, characteristics of disfunctional families, coparison with "normal" families Negative social phenomena in school - hookey-players, chicane, enhanced aggression Risk groups, extremist movements Dependency behaviour - sects and new religions (mechanisms, chances of assistance) Gambling, workoholism, cleptomania Drugs and alcohol dependences - basic division of addictive drugs, prevention, repression

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Work activities (workshops), Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is to acquaint the students with the origin, mechanism and development of mental deviations. The part of the course will be target also on basic orientation in socio-pathological phenomena and their prevention.
Students will be able to specify different socio-pathological phenomena and suggest preventative measures. They will be able to describe origin and development of dependency behavior.
