Course content
Lectures and seminars follow the following areas of problems: 1. Behavioral and emotional disorders - basic concepts, technical terminology - according to DSM 5 and ICD 11. 2. School counselling facilities and school counselling workplaces 3. Cooperation with parents of children with problem behaviour. 4. Institutional assistance in solving school indiscipline and manifestations of behaviour disorders (eg OSPOD, PPP, SVP, DDÚ). 5. Legal framework for the performance of institutional and protective education, alternative family care. 6. Probation and mediation service in cases of a juvenile offender. 7. The most common social risk phenomena in children. Enumeration, developmental, social, psychological context. 8. Possibilities, ways of prevention of social risk phenomena in school (even outside school). 9. Intervention as support, rules of intervention, principles and principles of intervention, individual and group intervention.

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on understanding the etiology, course and correction of risky behavior in individuals. It is dedicated primarily to primary school students. The aim is for students to learn to distinguish between the manifestations of problem behavior in children and to choose appropriate interventions. A partial goal is then to understand the dynamics of class groups in relation to risky behavior.
Students are able to specify various risk phenomena and work with them in the context of class and school.
