Course content
1. Reflection of art therapy experience 2. Introduction to art therapy 3. History of art therapy 4. Main art therapy directions 5. Work with client within art therapy 6. Art therapy with children 7. Art therapy techniques within work with children 8. Development of visual imaging 9. Possibilities of working with artefakt 10. Experiential seminar 11. Training of reactions: art therapist - client 12. Ethical issues in art therapy

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Graphic and art activities
Learning outcomes
The course focuses on possibilities of using art therapy with preschool children. Main topics : History and present of art therapy, main art therapy directions, development of visual imaging in childhood, specifics of art therapy with preschool chidren, possibilities of individual and group art therapy work with preschoolers.
student gains theoretical knowledge of visual imaging development and ways of influencing it in preschool age, skill to use some very simple art therapy techniques; after course completion student does not become an art therapist.
