Course content
1. Aims of aesthetics education in preschool. Possibilities of aesthetic perception development of preschool children, search and perception of the beauty in a work of art and outside it as well. Work of art in preschool practice, kitsch, general principles of choosing of artworks suitable for children. 2. Theatre performance and film in preschool education. Integrated educational complex inspired by a graphic/plastic, musical, or literary work, joining of artistic, musical, and literary components. 3. Use of aesthetic disciplines in the creativity development of pre-school children, educational strategies supporting creativity, creative surroundings in preschool.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Demonstration, Projection, Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
Within the course the students learn to apply the theoretical basis of aesthetics and the development of creativity in preschool conditions, use techniques leading to the development of a creative personality and to the sensitive perception of the surrounding world in practice with the emphasis on the possibility of their use while working with preschool children.
To explain and use the techniques leading to the development of a creative personality and to the aesthetic perception of the world in practice. To prepare activities issuing from a musical (graphic or plastic, literary) work related to the other aesthetic components. To propose the possibilities how to incorporate theatre performance or film in preschool education.

Interview, Seminar work

Preparation of an activity developing the aesthetic perception of pre-school children, its realization in preschool, assessment and written reflection.
