Course content
The origin and development of Philosophy for Children in the USA and other countries. A philosophical story and alternative basis for philosophical dialogue. The basis of critical thinking - the basis of informal logic. The creative and engaged thinking in philosophical dialogue. Looking for fellow ship and philosophical dialogue. The upbringing reaching ethic values and Philosophy for Children.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
To provide students the basic insight to a theory of Mr. Lipman´s philosophy for children and create this way theoretical basis for understanding principals of critical, creative and engaged thinking.
They show basic overview of the history of Philosophy for Children. They show the overview of basic principles of Philosophy for Children. They have the basic insight to Aristotel´s informal logic.
Signing up for the subject doesn´t require completing of another subject.
