Course content
1. Attachment theory 2. Involved vs. uninvolved relationship 3. Directive vs. non-directive relationship 4. Character defence as relationship determinant 5. Relationship boundaries 6. Empathy, active listening, warmth 7. Effect of positive and negative moral emotions on relationship 8. Educational styles and their influence on the emotional attachment formation 9. Emotional attachment in childhood 10. Emotional needs deprivation of children and their influence on relationship disruption 11. Pervasive developmental disorders /autism, Asperger syndrome/ 12. Emotional attachment and its dysfunction in partner relationships 13. Dynamics of emotional relationships in case of break-up 14. Double bond in communication and its effect on relatioship disruption

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Monitoring, Demonstration, Projection, Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The course presents the basis of attachment theory. After the course, the future teacher will be able to understand better his own emotional experience, relationships dynamics and interpersonal interactions, understand better the function of empathy, positive and negative social emotions in social relationships, and learn how to use the techniques of behaviour and relationships modification more effectively.
Familiarity with the topic of attachment theory psychology, ability to apply acquired knowledge in pedagogical or psychological-consulting work, mainly with children and the young, as well as in one's own life.
