Course content
Methodology of teaching the mother tongue at the primary level of basic school. The process of teaching style. Specific methodology of work with the main genres of children's literature: fairytale; adventure story about children; poetry.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Work with text (with textbook, with book), Monitoring, Demonstration, Skills training, Work activities (workshops), Graphic and art activities, Activating (simulations, games, drama)
Learning outcomes
The second phase of the running pedagogic practice - outputs, follows directly in the 6th and 7th semesters the inspections of classes at basic schools. Students start to teach. Teaching preparations start with detailed briefing made by the teacher at a concrete basic school. Students pass the elaborated teaching preparation together with practical comments on inspections of classes to the basic school teacher who controls and completes it before the student's output. Analyses and evaluation of the lesson follows each output.
A thorough understanding of theoretical and professional aspects of the methodology of teaching the Czech language and style is complemented by the ability to employ teaching methods and procedures in the creation of teaching plans. Developing the ability to make a methodological analysis of the subject matter and to use the subject matter creatively within primary school.

The ability to analyse the situation at the training school from the perspective of teaching the Czech language and style and literature at junior level of basic school.
