Course content
1. Description of artistic artefakt 2. Interpretation of artistic artefakt 3. Colour and its symbolism 4. Development of visual imaging 5. Beginnings of artistic imaging 6. Visual expression of preschool children 7. Visual expression in younger school age 8. Visual expression in older school age 9. Visual expression of adolescents 10. Visual expression of handicapped children 11. Art therapy 12. Drawing psychological tests

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The topic of seminar is visual expression development. Its aim is to familiarize students with main phases of visual expression development and relatioship between drawing and cognitive and emotional development. Emphasis is put on diagnostic potential of child's drawing.
